Want More From Your Mate? Focus on the Positive!

Have you ever been in a relationship with someone and you start going through this season where everything they do gets on your nerves? No matter what they do, all you can see is what’s wrong with them and what you hate. I’ve got a key that will help push you through this negative season, and back into The Honeymoon phase! Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, focus solely upon the things that he/she does that you enjoy; things that make you smile. For example, instead of focusing on the fact that he hasn’t bought you flowers in 7 months, focus on when he does the laundry once a week, folds the clothes and puts them all away. Switch your focus from the fact that you hate that she wears footie pajamas to bed now and remind yourself that she still watches you walk across the room after 7 years of marriage… and she smiles while she’s watching.

Take a moment each day to sit down and write out a list of everything that he/she does that makes you “float” and puts you back into the moment where you first laid your eyes on them. When you change your focus and energy towards positivity, the relationship will begin to change in that direction as well… I promise.

Sending you love in abundance,

Stephanie
